ABOUT

Susan Strazzella was born in New Jersey and graduated from Pratt Institute in New York. She also studied with Jack Potter and Kenneth Paul Block at the NY School of Visual Arts.

A Background as an Art Director and Illustrator, gave her great experience and a depth of understanding about the creative process. After leaving a full time Art Director career, she has dedicated herself solely to her art.

Working in Mixed Media (acrylic, paper and fabric), Susan's favorite subject is bold and bright flowers. Her colors are spontaneous and creative and "just happen". She also enjoys creating artwork of animals.

Susan's work has been shown in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and North Carolina. Susan's work is currently available by commission, online, and locally in Asheville at Woolworth Walk  (Downtown) and at The Wedge Studios (129 Roberts Street).
